They stripped away the brand's usual "decorative shenanigans" (Jacob & Co's dials are covered in diamonds and even has a working micro-roulette) plus chunks of the case and caseback, leaving only the watch running Components - movement and internal structure. Removing these extra elements has significantly lowered the price of these Epic X models, which are now positioned as the brand's entry-level sports fake watches for sale. Still eccentric, this more accessible robust Jacob & Co model is a win-win for customers.

A watch classified as a monocoque construction presents a great challenge to watchmakers. These skeletal models provide glimpses of internal motion. Without the shelter of dials, sub-dials, hour-markers and casebacks, the added transparency gives models no chance to "dazzle 'em, they'll never be smart" as in the Chicago (2001) soundtrack. Even the tiny flaws in the exposed movement and internal construction now appear magnified as they sit directly beneath the sapphire crystal. On the other hand, there's no need for a high quality fake watches expert to open the caseback and judge which parts are moving slower than usual, need to be wound up, or come to a complete stop due to the cutout display.
The stainless steel or titanium version of the Epic X has a slightly tweaked design to differentiate it from the others. Like most skeletonized watches, the Epic X dial gives the illusion that a lot is going on. There is no second hand. Another highlight: the lugs allude to the "X" shape. Taste of crab legs, these lugs securely lock the bezel and connect the bridges, providing symmetry and easy viewing of the dial.
